Yield: Serves 4
1 pound ground turkey
1/2 cup DeLallo Greek Feta Salad, chopped
1 teaspoon dried oregano
4 tablespoons DeLallo Extra Virgin Olive Oil
1/4 cup chopped red onion
1/2 teaspoon DeLallo Natural Fine Sea Salt
1/2 teaspoon black pepper
1 teaspoon DeLallo Lemon Juice Plus
4 fresh rolls
4 slices tomato
4 lettuce leaves
1/2 cup Tzatziki or sour cream
8 slices cucumber, optional
1. In a large bowl, combine ground turkey with chopped Greek Feta Salad, dried oregano, 2 tablespoons extra virgin olive oil, onion, salt, pepper and lemon juice. Shape mixture into four 4-inch patties.
2. Heat 2 tablespoons of olive oil in a large skillet on a medium-high setting. Add burgers and sauté until cooked through, about 8 minutes. Flip burgers to cook evenly.
3. Serve burgers in buns topped with lettuce, tomato and a few spoonfuls of Tzatziki or cucumbers and sour cream.
